The Second
Coming Puzzle |
Jesus was to be seen returning.
Just who all was supposed to see Christ
return?
Would most see Him and yet not acknowledge
Him, because they were spiritually blind?
Would there be but a few who not only did
see Him return, but actually had enough faith to know what they had seen?
Seen and yet not seen?
Was He to return and be seen and yet not be
seen?
See me no more - Ye see me?
John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give
you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even
the Spirit of truth; whom the world
cannot receive, because
it seeth him
not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he
dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you
comfortless:. 19 I will come to you Yet a
little while, and the world seeth me no
more; but ye see me: because I
live, ye shall live also. (KJV)
John 16:4 But these things have I told you, that when the
time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And
these things I said not unto you at the
beginning, because I was with you. 5 But now I go my way to
him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou? 6 But
because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.
7 evertheless I tell you the truth;
It is expedient for you
that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not
come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world
of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 Of sin, because
they believe not on me; 10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father,
and ye see me no more;
(KJV)

Ye Shall not see Me until..
Luke 13: 35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate:
and verily I say unto you, Ye
shall not see me,
until the time come when
ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. (KJV)
John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give
you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even
the Spirit of
truth; whom the world cannot receive, because
it seeth him
not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him;
for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless:
I will come to you.
19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but
ye see me:
because I live, ye shall live also. (KJV)
John 16:4 But these things have I told you, that when the
time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And
these things I said not
unto you at the beginning,
because I was with you. 5 But
now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh
me, Whither goest thou? 6 But because I have said these things unto you,
sorrow hath filled your heart. 7 evertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for
you that I go away: for if
I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I
will send him unto you. 8 And
when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and
of right- eousness, and of judgment: 9 Of sin, because they believe not on
me; 10 Of righteousness, because
I go to my Father, and
ye see me no more; (KJV)

He Came and was to go away and yet His
followers would rejoice.
16:16
A little
while, and ye
shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the
Father.
16:28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the
world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
16:30 Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and
needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou
camest forth from God.
31
Jesus answered them,
Do ye now
believe?
32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that
ye shall be scattered,
every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the
Father is with me. 33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye
might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation:
but be of good cheer; I
have overcome the world.

Luke 18:5 Yet
because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual
coming she weary me. 6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
7 And shall
not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him,
though he bear long with them? 8 I tell you that he will
avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, --
shall he find faith on the
earth? (KJV)
| Did He
find very much faith when He returned?
Let me ask you
this - Did Christ return speedily in power and great glory and in
vengeance on the wicked in the first century? |
Acts 7:55 But
he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly
into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right
hand of God, 56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of
man standing on the right hand of God.
John 20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou
hast seen me, thou hast believed:
blessed are they that
have not seen, and yet have believed. (KJV)
